Research and Development



The company has joined over the years different research projects at national and European level. Currently research is focused on alternative energy and especially on the storage of hydrogen using metal hydrides.
The research is focused on the energy sector and in particular:

  • Study of the accumulation systems and production of energy through the use of hydrogen (gas and metal hydrides).
  • Study of systems for energy recovery in industrial field

The projects completed and in progress are:

  • HYSYVISION - construction of a prototype for the storage of hydrogen with metal hydrides.
  • H2FC - construction of 1 KW power generation system with fuel cell and storage of hydrogen with metal hydrides.
  • FA-H2FC - feasibility study for the use of current-generation fuel cell systems and hydrogen storage in metal hydrides for luxury boats.
  • STERIN - Feasibility study on the different methods of storage of electricity from renewable sources with technical-economic comparison.
  • SSH2S - construction of a 1KW system for feeding auxiliary circuits of a commercial vehicle through the use of high-temperature fuel cell and hydrogen storage with complex hydrides (www.ssh2s.eu).
  • DRONHY - feasibility study for the use of fuel cell & Hydrogen for powering of drones to be used in the field of the periodic checks of equipment.
  • SUSPIRE - construction of a plant for the energy recovery of an aluminum foundry with innovative energy storage methods (www.suspire-h2020.eu).
